What a Sundaylooks like

Doors at 9:00. Service 9:30 AM11:15.

The same elements in the same order, week after week. If you have been to church before, none of it will surprise you. If you haven't, here is exactly what to expect.

The order

The whole shape of it

Doors open at 9:00. Come late if you have to — people do, and no one turns around.

  2. 9:35Worship
  3. 10:05Notices and prayer

Before you come

Questions people ask

What should I wear?

Whatever you already own. Most people turn up in what they wore on Saturday.

What's the music like?

Modern worship, live and loud. If a song is new to you, most people have it by the second chorus.

Where do I park?

Free lot behind the building, plus street parking if it fills.

What happens with my kids?

Children three to eleven are dismissed after the second song. Babies and toddlers can stay, and we expect noise.

Will I be asked to give?

You are our guest. The church is supported by its own members, so if you are visiting, just enjoy the morning.

What if I'm not sure what I believe?

Come anyway. Sit at the back, listen, and take as long as you need. Plenty of us arrived here with more questions than answers.

How long is it?

About an hour and forty-five, 9:30 to 11:15. Most people stay talking afterwards.

Let us know you are coming

You do not have to. You are welcome to walk in on Sunday and say nothing to anyone. But if you tell us first, someone will be at the door looking for you.

Bringing children, need a lift, using a wheelchair, or nothing at all. Optional.

We will only use this to reply. Nothing is added to a list.
